Wincanton approached me to develop their two internal magazines “OnShift” and “RoadTrain” that went out to the warehouse and truckers in their 28,000+ staff into one new and colourful hybrid magazine.
The magazine would be printed and downloadable from their internal company portal to staff across Europe; and the two old magazines would be renamed “OnShift” and “OnRoute”; with half of the new magazine dedicated to each.
The “OnShift” section would read one way up; untill it reached the centre spread of the magazine where it would meet the end of the “OnRoute” section which would be upside down. So a member of staff could pick the magazine up and turn it over to find the corresponding cover to their industry and read to the centre. With the emphasis being to give equal prestige to each industry.
